I do the following and receive an error. apt-get install libcodeblocks0 codeblocks libwxsmithlib0 codeblocks-contrib Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: libcodeblocks0: Depends: libwxgtk2.8-0 (>= 2.8.9.1) but it is not going to be installed E: Broken packages I’ve seen this method to install CodeBlocks and wxWidgets 2.8.10 for Ubuntu 7.10 all over the Internet which is exactly what I want to do but it doesn’t work.
